Plan for the Future

The Plan for the Future area provides several education and occupation planning tools. Each of the tools below features intuitive design for adding, editing, and removing items easily.

• Education Planner–Lay out multi-year plans for secondary and postsecondary education, including 2-year, 4-year, and 6-year plans to meet state and district requirements. Individuals create a new career plan based on a particular career cluster or on a template uploaded by the system administrator. The student can then enter specific courses into the career plan. Education plans can easily be saved in the portfolio and printed.
• Note Taker–Provides an area for system users to keep a journal of career paths, ideas, reflections, experiences, and/or career goals.
• Resumé Builder–Create multiple resumés, choosing from two formats and four styles. Resumés are designated either Private or Public. Selecting to make a resumé public allows the system user to send a link to the resumé via e-mail to a potential employer or other recipients.
